About the Treatment
Zirconia crowns are a type of crown with no metal substructure; thanks to their light transmission, they aim for an appearance close to natural teeth. The main fabrication methods are:
• Monolithic zirconia: a single-piece, high-strength structure.
• Layered zirconia: an aesthetic version with porcelain layered over a zirconia substructure.
• Metal-ceramic: the conventional method.
